Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through project team members.
Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Manages large new product introductions (NPI) as assigned by engineering manager. Responsibilities include but not limited to project tracking, plant layouts, collaboration with internal and external customers, and manages change to internal or external timelines.

Research and perform return on investments (ROI) for equipment, processes, and systems to meet the needs of the business and promote continuous improvement (CI).
Leads development and implementation of standardized processes related to the business using six sigma and lean tools to minimize waste and promote quality and safety.
Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required by the project needs.
Confers with project staff to outline workplan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
Mentors and leads development of process engineers including new hires.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations written in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in English from groups of managers, customers, or other employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
